HDI Global is a provider of insurance solutions and risk management services. As part of their offerings, HDI Global provides Leak360 sensors to customers worldwide. Leak360 is a sensor solution developed by HDI TH!NX, a division of the HDI Group specializing in tech-based business models and risk management solutions.
Leak360 sensors are designed to detect and prevent leaks at an early stage. They utilize water, moisture, and frost sensors installed in exposed areas, as well as continuous monitoring of water meters to identify potential damage caused by water-related issues.
The Leak360 sensors are equipped to automatically detect unusual consumption patterns, damp areas, and indications of leaks. This automated system promptly alerts designated individuals, allowing for early intervention to minimize potential damage.
In addition, HDI Global incentivizes the use of Leak360 by offering lower deductibles as part of their insurance solution. By incorporating innovative solutions like Leak360, HDI Global aims to reduce avoidable losses for their customers worldwide and emphasize the importance of preventing and mitigating damage.
HDI Global’s global distribution network allows them to provide Leak360 sensors and related services to customers across various sectors and building types, helping to minimize risk and protect structures from the costly consequences of water leaks.
HDI Global is offering its customers worldwide the Leak360 sensor solution from HDI TH!NX, designed to detect and prevent leaks at an early stage.
Leak360, developed by HDI TH!NX, a division of the HDI Group specializing in tech-based business models and risk management solutions, is designed to swiftly detect leaks and safeguard the building structure from potential damage.
Leak360 incorporates water, moisture, and frost sensors installed in exposed areas, along with continuous monitoring of water meters, enabling the detection of potential damage caused by water-related issues.
Through automated detection of abnormal consumption patterns and damp areas, the sensors in Leak360 promptly identify potential issues and notify designated individuals. This early alert system allows for swift action to prevent the spread of damage.
Director Barbara Klimaszewski-Blettner highlights that HDI Global incentivizes the adoption of Leak360 by offering lower deductibles as part of the insurance solution.
Highlighting the significance of their innovative solutions, she stressed, “Our focus is on minimizing avoidable losses for customers worldwide. We recognize the utmost importance of preventing and mitigating damage.”
Water leaks can result in substantial building damage, often stemming from issues such as damaged pipes or water running through broken flush systems. Public and commercial buildings are particularly vulnerable to such risks, while temporary vacancies or aging structures may require constant protection to mitigate potential damage.
The sensor transmits data and signals to a service center, allowing users to customize notification settings according to their preferences using a PC or smartphone.
HDI asserts that Leak360 is suitable for structures of all sizes and applications, effectively reducing risk in both existing buildings and newly constructed structures.
Verena Brenner, Managing Director of HDI TH!NX, stated, “By detecting water damage or leaks at an early stage, we can minimize damage to the building structure, resulting in reduced costs associated with business interruptions caused by extensive remediation efforts.”
HDI TH!NX is scheduled to participate in a leakage summit in Berlin in September. During the event, they will present the benefits of Leak360, which encompasses integrated visualization, analysis, and reporting functionalities.
