Ford has made a significant contribution to Team Rubicon, a veteran-led organization that provides disaster relief and assistance to communities worldwide. The donation includes a variety of vehicles and financial support. Ford has generously donated F-150s, Super Duty trucks, Broncos, and a sum of $2.5 million to aid Team Rubicon in their missions.

The vehicle donation consists of different models suited for various purposes. The F-150 XL PowerBoost hybrid trucks comprise the majority of the contribution, with 10 trucks provided. These hybrid trucks offer a blend of power and efficiency.

For more substantial operations, two F-350 Super Duty trucks have been included in the fleet. These trucks are equipped with Ford’s 2.0-kW Pro Power Onboard system, which enables the use of electrical tools and equipment directly from the vehicle.

Furthermore, Team Rubicon will benefit from three F-150 Lightning Pro trucks, which provide the advantages of electric power for their operations. Additionally, two Broncos fitted with the Sasquatch package have been donated, designed to tackle challenging terrains and provide access to hard-to-reach areas during relief efforts.

In addition to the vehicle contribution, Ford has contributed $2.5 million to Team Rubicon’s Ready Reserve Fund. This fund enables Team Rubicon to respond rapidly and effectively to disasters, providing immediate services and supplies to affected communities.

To support the long-term maintenance and functionality of the donated equipment, Ford has included five years of maintenance and Ford Pro software functionality.

The collaboration between Ford and Team Rubicon, driven by shared values and a commitment to service, aims to strengthen communities and enhance disaster response capabilities. With this substantial donation, Team Rubicon will be better equipped to provide aid and support to those impacted by disasters and crises, furthering their mission of making a positive difference in the world.

Team Rubicon, an organization led by veterans that responds to natural disasters worldwide, is receiving significant support from Ford. In addition to a generous donation of $2.5 million, Ford is providing 17 vehicles, including new Fords, to aid their efforts in assisting affected communities.

Ford, along with its philanthropic arm, the Ford Fund group, has made a substantial investment of $5.8 million into Team Rubicon, resulting in the creation of the initiative called Team Rubicon Powered By Ford. The vehicle donation consists primarily of 10 F-150 XL PowerBoost hybrid trucks.

Additionally, there are two F-350 Super Duty trucks equipped with Ford’s 2.0-kW Pro Power Onboard system for larger missions. The fleet also includes three F-150 Lightning Pro trucks, and a pair of Broncos with the Sasquatch package, specifically designed for accessing challenging terrains.

To support immediate disaster response efforts, Ford’s $2.5-million donation is directed towards Team Rubicon’s Ready Reserve Fund. This allocation empowers the organization to swiftly provide essential services and supplies during disaster situations.

Moreover, Ford is including a comprehensive package that encompasses five years of maintenance and Ford Pro software functionality to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of the donated equipment.

Team Rubicon CEO Art delaCruz emphasized the significance of shared values, stating, “It starts with shared values.” In an announcement regarding the donation, he highlighted that both Team Rubicon and Ford share a deep commitment to service and the mission of building resilient communities.

The collaboration amplifies their collective ability to reach and support impacted individuals and communities.

Ford’s donated vehicle fleet prominently features mobile electric power as a vital element.
